What We Do

Prostate Cancer Black Men (PCBM) exists to raise awareness of the higher risk black men in the UK have of getting prostate cancer. Our aim is to change the '1 in 4 black men' statistic. We do this by:

Publications

We have a range of publications available free of charge, that focus on raising awareness about the high risk of Prostate cancer in black males and the importance of early diagnosis and will also answer questions you might have on the prostate and prostate cancer.

If you would like to receive these publications for use in your establishment, please email info@prostatecancerblackmen.org

Events

We run or participate in a range of events, from collaborations with Universities within London and the UK, to partnerships with other community groups and charities such as the Errol McKellar Foundation, Cancer Don’t Let It Win (CDLIW) CIC, Hello Love, One Love Promotions, the NHS, Macmillan, Cancer Research and Prostate Cancer UK.

If you would like to work with us, please email info@prostatecancerblackmen.org

Research

We actively support research into prostate cancer, especially to help us find out why black men are so disproportionally affected. We work closely with Prostate Cancer UK, and other NHS organisations or establishments for clinical research and raising awareness of clinical research trials.

If you are interested in finding out more about current research and trials, please email info@prostatecancerblackmen.org
